Before baby B was born, we took some family/maternity pictures. April is Tulip month here so we went to a park and took some pictures with the tulips.

To back up a bit…
I kept thinking baby T was coming early so the last week before I was due, on my last free afternoon before my due date, I had a friend take some maternity/family pictures of us. Of course it turned out that I had plenty of time! I was so glad she could do this and we got some really good ones. We went to a nearby forest-y area since I like outdoor pictures best. It was a little warm and I sure got tired walking around but I am glad we did. Here are some of my favs.
As soon as we had taken this picture at a little friend’s birthday party this year, I was reminded of this picture take two summers ago at E’s first birthday party.
I am so glad these girls have gotten to spend two birthday parties together even though they have both moved to the other side of the world! Hopeful for many more!

E slept in til about 8:30 on her birthday. Then she put on the family birthday hat!
Cupcakes for breakfast! And then daddy made pigs in a blanket for real second breakfast.
The birthday banner is hung and its time to open presents!
When asked what she wanted for her birthday, she would say “my very own real doctor’s bag”. And she got one!

Then we had a party at school that afternoon!
Even though E’s teachers are on vacation, they came up to school for a little while for her party! They are so sweet! I made cupcakes and cookies and took juice boxes up for the party.
They sang happy birthday and she blew out her candle. Then they ate and then just played around in the room.
What a fun day for a fun girl!
